Jim Klingel

Why I’m here: I joined Integreya in October 2013. I was instantly attracted to the excitement of a cutting edge industry, but more so to work within an organization that fosters a culture of growth, creativity, development and opportunity. I consider myself a life-long learner, leadership junkie and firmly believe in serving others and surrounding myself with great people. Core values truly exist and are lived by day to day here…that’s why I’m here.

About me: I grew up in central NJ and graduated from Rutgers University with a BA in Communication.

Professionally, my first “real” job after college was with Aerotek, where I began working as a recruiter, transitioned into sales and developed a large client base in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries in the northeast corridor.

After 6 years in various aspects of the staffing industry focusing on business development and team leadership, my “corporate” life was abruptly impacted by the events of 9/11.Having worked my way through college as an apprentice to a design contractor along with renovating rental properties with my family as a kid, I took the leap into entrepreneurship and started a residential design and renovation company. We enjoyed more than a decade of success, serving wonderful clients and being featured on HGTV before the housing market and economy beganto decline. The opportunity to diversify by combining construction expertise with cutting edge technology presented itself through surveillance,wireless and network installation projects. Joining Integreya shortly thereafter has enabled me to utilize a multitude of past experience, education and leadership as part of a phenomenal team, building an amazing company.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife Julie and 2 boys, Spencer and Tanner; reading and golf.
